When we watch
and wait
Knowing
the unknowing
So cool
with your poker face
The one
everyone reads
So calm
and sweating on the inside
Wondering how you are going to remember
the web you have weaved
You weave them so well
those stories
you tell
And then they
know
and you wonder why they leave
So cool with that poker face
you know,
the one
that shows the hand
you’re holding
Something Resembling Life 
Thinking about Poker and life, some people complain that they are just playing the cards that were dealt to them. I kind of wonder. Watching TV, I see that a lot of people fold hands with lots of potential rather than play them. Perhaps this is true in life as well.

We have the option to changes those cards. I was reflecting on people who lie and those around them know. Especially addicts. Of any sort really. And with thoughts on fold the hands with potential, do you think they through away potential out of fear?

It is amazing to watch someone lie, even when you know they are lying and that they know aren’t fooling you.
Trump is like that, only on a big scale.
As for why people throw away potential….that’s a tough one. Fear is certainly one motivation, but there are many others.

Yes, YES and truth. Some people fear success…so I have been told. Lies, liars…such a sad way to live and treats others.
