Resilience

Resilience is the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility and adjustment to external and internal demands. From APA Dictionary of Psychology

So….I got the job that I have been waiting and hoping for.

I am grateful things fall through and people don’t call or even call you back.

I am also grateful that some people really aren’t about people. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have the opportunity that I have right now.

I am also grateful to those that were still waiting or wanting to work with me. I have a lot of amazing supporters in my life and I am so honored that I do.

The point is, don’t give up. No matter what, DON’T GIVE UP! I knocked on so many doors that I knew eventually one would open, and it did. I was even told that maybe I should dumb-down my resume, I didn’t.

It took time, all good things do.

Resilience……it simply always is.
